About Me

       I really struggled with whether or not to even start a blog. I don't want to tell my children's stories before they have had a chance to tell them themselves. But, then I realized that one day they may want me to tell them my side of it; the things I remember. Well, we all know that by the time our children start asking those sorts of questions we'll be too old to remember. *wink*
   
      So, I started a blog. To help me remember. To help others that have struggled with similar stories of living in the shade of life's storms. To encourage mama's who know something is wrong with their little sweetie but no one will listen. To share what I do, don't do, think about and create. All of which comes from a heart of love for my God and the blessings He has given me.

     But I know you clicked this link to learn the facts. *smile* To find out who I really am.  I am the daughter to The Alpha and Omega- God Almighty. I am a wife, to my high school sweetheart, of 10 years. I am a mother to four beautiful girls. We are a homeschooling family that enjoys all things homemade. We cloth diaper, strive to eat a (mostly) whole foods, gluten-free, dairy free, corn free diet and dream of one day living a self-sustainable lifestyle on a farm somewhere in the country (think  Little House in the Big Woods by L.I. Wilder!). I struggle everyday to be a content, joyful, frugal mama, and tend to share too much. I am constantly mulling over the rattlings in my brain. But I hope you'll stick around and read along as I share all about my life and what I've learned, and am learning as He grows my faith in the shade of life's storms.
